L3Harris to Boost Polish Navy Combat Power

L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has been selected to support the Polish Navy’s operational capabilities and maritime defence with an advanced ship management system for the new Miecznik-class frigates. PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, the state-owned shipyard, selected L3Harris’ Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) to enhance ship performance, reliability, and safety.

L3Harris’ IPMS incorporates functionalities and capabilities derived from years of collaborating with partners such as the U.K. Royal Navy, Royal Netherlands Navy, Royal Australian Navy, and the Royal Canadian Navy. Since its inception, L3Harris has enhanced the IPMS technology and delivered it to three hundred vessels in twenty-eight navies around the world.

The Miecznik frigates, based on the Arrowhead 140 ship design by Babcock International, will modernise the Polish Navy and enhance its operational capabilities. L3Harris’ IPMS will optimise situational awareness, operational efficiency, and safety for these next-generation warships.
